SUPERSTITIOUS RITUAL OBJECTS AIMING HEALING OF DISEASE: SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN PRESENT MEDICAL CARE IN HOSPITAL-CASE STUDIES FROM THAILAND

Abstract

Belief in superstitious power is seen worldwide in any countries. It is no doubt that the spiritual aspect is the big consideration in any activities of human. In medicine, the spiritual dimension of illness is an interesting issue. Here, the author discuss on the superstitious ritual objects aiming healing of disease: spiritual belief in present medical care in hospital seen in several case studies from Thailand.
