“THUNJAI”, A RITUAL-RELIGIOUS BELIEF IN THAILAND

Abstract

The belief on “Thanjai†(ทันใจ) is the interesting ritual-religious belief in Thailand a tropical country in Indochina. The belief comes in the form of Buddhist related Buddha image and god spiritual image worshipping. The belief is common in northern region of Thailand and has strong relationship to Myanmar culture.
