Abstract

After declaring as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization1 after the outbreak of Corona virus, the economy of the country become unstable as nationwide lockdown announced by the Prime Minister in order to break the chain of COVID-19 and to provide safeguard to the human beings from getting suffered by the COVID-19 .Corporate Social Responsibility amidst COVID-19 plays a very crucial role as government announced that the expenditure incurred on COVID-19 will be considered as the permissible avenues for CSR expenditure. The corporate assist the society with cash by transferring the amount to PM CARES Fund and states too and also creates awareness programme of maintaining social distance which is the only weapon in the hands of the general public till the vaccine or medicine is ready for out to mitigate the spread of deadly infection- Corona virus. The paper emphasizes on Corporate Social Responsibility amidst COVID-19. The objective of the paper is to study the relief aid and assistance of the corporate and relevant of CSR during COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher gives importance to the secondary data to collect the relevant information. The paper end with a discussion and conclusion which contains how the corporate come forward during the period of global pandemic to help the society with mentally, physically and financially.
