Abstract

Ecommerce refer to the buying and selling of goods and services via electronic channels. This paper is outcome of a review of various research studies carried out on E-commerce. This paper examines different opportunities of e-commerce and raises key challenges that are being faced by consumers. Finally, many companies, organizations, and communities in India are beginning to take advantage of the potential of e-commerce; critical challenges remain to be overcome before e-commerce would become an asset for common people.
