Abstract

In a third world country like Zambia access to financing for small to medium organizations is very scares. This is a huge disadvantage to growth of the economy in that salaries of workers cannot be paid on time, company projects cannot be implemented on time and pensions cannot be paid on time. One of the major benefits of having an algorithmic trading bot is that funds generated by the organization can be invested into the market and traded to generate maximum profits. The use of the algorithmic bot allows the organization to double or even triple their monthly and annual profits. Algorithmic trading bots allow the organization to gain much needed forex which is safer to store as reserve money due to stability of the currency these include US dollar (USD), European Euro (EUR) and the British Pound (GBP). The storage of currency allows the organization to conduct foreign trade. This is an alternative investment of the organization. The term is a relatively loose one and includes tangible assets such as precious metals, collectibles (art, wine, antiques, coins, or stamps) and some financial assets such as real estate, commodities, private equity, distressed securities, hedge funds, exchange funds, carbon credits, venture capital, film production, financial derivatives, and crypto currencies. Investments in real estate, forestry and shipping are also often termed "alternative" despite the ancient use of such real assets to enhance and preserve wealth. Examples of alternative investments are Equity crowd funding platforms allow "the crowd" to review early-stage investment opportunities presented by entrepreneurs and take an equity stake in the business.
