Abstract

Today, as quickly as technology evolves, the more we change our habits, too. There may have been a tv in the whole town talking about television. Everybody used to sit and watch it simultaneously. At the same time, nowadays it is the OTT era that any citizen has a mobile phone where they can manage some material at any time. In the middle of all this, there has always been the supremacy of viewing movies in the cinema hall. But now it is accused of such superiority.


Today we are going through an era of lock-down that India’s people have never seen before for such a long time. In such a scenario, one wants to spend their spare time in front of the digital screen in the age of this technology and the internet, where they have a lot of choices to see, which is justified by the growing audience of the OTT video streaming platforms and the primary star’s inclination to this network.


The time we spend staring at our computers today has expanded tremendously. This technical transition by the internet has created a new kind of viewing environment when the movie halls shut and film release has been suspended in the center of the worldwide. It could alter the collective film-watching experience in the cinema hall, resulting in footfall once the screens open again.
